For our last First Third Thursday Talk of 2020, we’ve invited the renowned biologist David Havell. David currently works at in the Northern Threats Unit, Biodiversity Group, New Zealand Department of Conservation. David does work in ecology, botany, and pest plants. A current project is 'The Vegetation, Flora and Mycobiota of the Kermadec Islands', especially exotic and heritage flora. He will be talking about his work and discoveries on Raoul Island and surrounds, accompanied by his beautiful photos of the local plant and flowers. Not to be missed!

All our public talks are held at the Kelston Community Centre, 135 Awaroa Road, corner Great North Road, Kelston, starting at 7.30 pm. Non members are very welcome, join us for supper afterwards. Koha appreciated to cover hall hire.For further information contact Liz Anstey
